The OutBack FX2012 is a perfect fit for any service truck. 2000 watts plus of pure sine wave power, rated to -40° , it will work in the most demanding of situations.

We installed this one on a F-450 service/picker truck used for oil and gas field maintenance. The high idle/fast charge option made it an deal fit. Even large loads won't tax the unit. There was not any room inside the truck so the inverter was set in the tool box with a protective cover built for it. This is where the -40 rating comes in handy. Try and find another inverter that will perform in this environment!
